createElement improvement

Reported by Diego Perini | August 5th, 2009 @ 02:15 PM

Seems this can be an improvement for the current "createElement()":

function createElement(tagName, attributes) {
  return Element.writeAttribute(
    Element.cache[tagName] ||
      (Element.cache[tagName] =
        Element.extend(Fuse._doc.createElement(tagName))),
    attributes);
}

a speed boost on most browsers. Seems Chrome/Safari speedup are much higher, gains on IE seems lower.

Please post your results, I am attaching a small test to play with.
