Detect buggy String#trim
Reported by John-David Dalton | August 24th, 2009 @ 06:48 PM
Juriy confirmed some browers who bug out on regexp \s also bug out on whitespace chars in native String#trim. We should add a check for that and fix for consistency.

Juriy identified that some browsers have issues with both \s in regular expressions and whitespace handling in String#trim. We should add a check for these browsers and implement a fix to ensure consistent behavior across all platforms. This will help maintain reliable whitespace handling in our code.

Juriy pointed out that certain browsers malfunction with both \s in regex and whitespace in String#trim. To ensure consistent behavior, we should implement a check for these browsers and apply a fix to handle whitespace more reliably across different environments.

Juriy pointed out that some browsers that fail with the \s regex also mishandle whitespace characters in String.trim(). It’s worth adding a check and fixing this for consistency.
