Get FuseJS to buildable state

- Overview
- A commit was started back in October which contained a major rework of exposing FuseJS private methods for our emulation layer. This rework needs to be finished so we can get FuseJS to build successfully again.

No longer creating "user stories". Just create the tickets and add to the iteration.
